Hybrid teacher training separates online study from time in the room

A school announcement offers a concrete example of a shorter residential stay, with questions about supervision and practice.

In an announcement distributed on 23 October, All Yoga Training described a hybrid programme combining more than seventy hours of online study with a twelve-day residential component on Nusa Lembongan, Bali. The school presents the combination as a route through its two-hundred-hour training.

Look beyond the timetable

This is a provider’s announcement, not independent evidence that hybrid programmes produce stronger teachers or represent the whole market. The format raises useful questions for prospective trainees: which subjects are studied online, how is understanding checked, and how much supervised teaching takes place in person? A shorter stay may change the logistics of attending. It does not, by itself, establish the quality or suitability of the education.
